Luckily, this is a boss fight which the designers do not expect the player to win. So, in all likelihood, the demon lord Urizen will probably wipe the floor with them in this bout. By this point, the player has been in the game for all of 20 minutes, and has unlocked no extra abilities. In an unexpected turn of events, DMC5 holds nothing back by throwing the game's main antagonist right at them from the onset. If the player manages to conquer a certain challenge at the end of the game's prologue, then they'll unlock a secret ending vastly different in almost every way from the story's standard conclusion.Īt the end of Devil May Cry 5's prologue mission, the player is met with a nearly insurmountable challenge. Unlike every other game in the series, Devil May Cry 5 has a pretty substantial secret that most players are likely to miss on their first playthrough.
